We are constantly told from ads and TV that we need to moisturize our skin. But why?
No one should mindlessly buy products like some sort of consumer zombie, so we have taken it upon ourselves to reveal why a moisturizer is important. In order to understand the need for a moisturizer, you have to understand that a moisturizer is not just for people with dry skin. There is a moisturizer for every face type because using a moisturizer promotes healthy and tight skin.
Now a lot of people think that faces should not have any oil whatsoever. This is misguided, everyone has glands underneath their skin that produce oils that work as natural lubricants, keeping the skin healthy. Normal soaps,when used to wash our face, remove these oils, along with dirt, leaving our skin drier. This is particularly bad because as a person ages, their body produces fewer natural oils. This leads to wrinkles, which as most women will readily admit are their worst nightmares in the aging process.
This lovely lady always slathers on a healthy amount of moisturizer to keep her skin nice and smooth.
